As micro content makes its way into mainstream social media, renowned filmmaker Jijo Sengupta leads the way in bringing it to India, offering strategies and techniques for the industry to catch up, given micro content’s effectiveness by matching what audiences are looking for.

Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Anannya Sengupta, aka Jijo, continues to make headway globally as he returns to India to enable Micro Content, leading the charge in the evolution of marketing, music, and entertainment in India.

Jijo, known for mixing Hollywood and Bollywood, was the one behind Boca, the first-ever blended Bengali and English song that also features some Spanish lyrics. The film, which revolves around a man who simply falls for a woman, captures the two individuals as the guy tries his best to get her attention. He’s running, walking, and testing the impossible to be with her.

Jijo, or @simplyjijo on Instagram, has become a force to be reckoned with by producing niche content through AAJ Media Productions. The production firm was behind “Pehchan,” which is not just a story of identity and recognition. “Pehchan” depicts a slice of ordinary lives where people struggle to overcome physical and emotional upheavals in their own unique way.

With Jijo’s return to India, he is set to take CGI to the next level and introduce content made for the world. He is on track to produce Made in India productions that would set a new standard in the industry.

The renowned filmmaker is leading the way in introducing Micro Content to the Indian entertainment scene, putting out music videos the Holly-Bolly way.

“This time, rather than producing longer form content, India is seeing a trend for shorter form. Technology enables this game-changing trend, and the consumer wants it. Due to the limited amount of time people and Gen Z users have, the device they have, and the location they are in, consuming long content just doesn’t make sense anymore,” according to @simplyjijo.
